Edit a specific object or area in your room
Change one thing while keeping the rest of the room intact.

Use this guide when you want to change one specific thing in the room (a piece of furniture, a wall, a corner) while keeping the rest intact.
Name the object and its location
- “The coffee table in the center of the room.”
- “The wall behind the bed.”
- “The pendant light above the dining table.”
- “The chair in the bottom-right corner by the window.”
Say what changes, and what must not
Targeted edits work best when you explicitly protect the rest of the image.
- “Replace the coffee table with something round in a lighter wood. Keep the sofa and layout.”
- “Change the rug to a warm neutral. Do not change any furniture.”
- “Keep everything except the armchair; swap it for something lighter.”
Use annotations when available
If you can annotate the image, mark the exact area and pair it with a short instruction. This is especially helpful when there are multiple similar objects.
If Oona changes too much
Start your next message with a hard constraint: “Only change the coffee table. Keep everything else exactly as it is.” Then restate the single change.
